Seated Acupressure Massage

What is a Seated Acupressure Massage?

Seated Acupressure Massage, also known as On-Site or Chair Massage is a combination of the ancient Oriental massage arts of Anma and Shiatsu.

It is a meridian (energy pathway) based therapy consisting of the application of pressure via the use of thumbs, fingers, elbows and knuckles to various acupressure points along the 12 major meridian lines on the back, arms, hands, neck, head and legs.

How a Seated Acupressure Massage Can Help You?

The use of this type of massage is to help stimulate and balance the flow of energy or life force throughout the body. In turn this helps to stimulate the circulatory, muscular, nervous, immune and lymphatic system whilst promoting the release of endorphins and important mood-regulating neurotransmitters. In other words you are left feeling good in a relaxed, yet energised way and in a clearly focused frame of mind.
